When it comes to data preparation and analytics, Alteryx is the gold-standard for capabilities and self-service. From the very beginning, location analytics has been at the core of the feature set. We wanted to empower the AlterNation with easier access to more location data.

In June, we released a public beta of Mapbox macros in Alteryx. Today we are excited to announce that all four macros are available for everyone in the Alteryx Public Gallery — just in time for Inspire Europe.

The Mapbox macros in Alteryx:

  • Search — forward and reverse geocoding
  • Isochrones — drive-time trade areas, now with walking and cycling
  • Spatial Lookup — extract valuable data from Mapbox tilesets
  • Boundary Lookup — enrich your data with global administrative, statistical, and postal boundary hierarchies

These macros allow any user with a Mapbox account to access highly accurate location data with global coverage and scale, through the same drag-and-drop interface that Alteryx users expect — no data download or complicated setup required. Learn more here or download the macros directly in the Public Gallery, to get started building in Alteryx.

Mapbox is excited to help the Alteryx Community in their drive to Alter Everything. If you need help, don’t hesitate to get in touch at solutions@mapbox.com. Can’t wait to see what you build!
