Gokul Ganesan joins Mapbox!

We’re excited to welcome Gokul Ganesan to Mapbox! Gokul joins our team to improve OpenStreetMap and other datasets using satellite imagery, telemetry, and customer feedback.
Gokul completed his master’s degree in remote sensing and GIS from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing. Before joining Mapbox, Gokul was part of the team working for an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) project which used high precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positions and satellite images to understand the earthquake scenario of the Himalaya.
In his free time, you will find him playing table tennis, traveling, writing, exploring, and learning something new.
