Mapbox fuels Blue Rhino’s propane finder

While this quarantine has many of us feeling blue, Blue Rhino has us covered for some at-home fun. With summer weather finally arriving this Memorial Day Weekend, it’s time to light up the grill! Blue Rhino is using Mapbox’s to create its Propane Finder so you can find the most convenient location to replace your tank.
Using Mapbox Studio, Blue Rhino created a custom map style and icons that match their brand. Type in your home address or search by zip code, and Mapbox Temporary Geocoding API will highlight the Blue Rhino propane retailers near you. Blue Rhino enhances these results using the Mapbox Matrix API to rank them based on the drive time.
To make things even easier for their customers, Blue Rhino has implemented Mapbox Directions API to provide you with turn by turn instructions from your house to the closest store, which you send directly to your phone.
