Pay-as-you-go: new flexible pricing options

Starting today, we’re rolling out pay-as-you-go pricing for our core products: maps, search, and navigation. Use as much or as little as you need — and only pay for what you use.

- Generous free tier to get you started developing
- 10x increase in storage for custom data and tilesets
- Unlimited map designs in Studio
- Developer friendly pricing for mobile apps based on MAUs
Our new pay-as-you-go pricing is designed to be simple and transparent and to let you just dig in and start building amazing things. We’re also including additional storage and unlimited map designs in Studio.
Pay-as-you-go is immediately available to all future Mapbox subscribers from today onward.
We also made it easier to determine the plan you need. Our updated Commercial plan allows you to build paid or private apps (like an internal dashboard or an application that you charge others to use) or asset tracking applications (such as a dog-tracking app or a fleet management platform). Or — if you’re building at a larger scale — you can always contact us at enterprise@mapbox.com to join enterprise-scale companies building with Mapbox like Snapchat, The Weather Channel, IBM, Lonely Planet, and Strava.
