Vector maps on Raspberry Pi and Yocto

By Thiago Santos

Mapbox GL Native now has a layer for
Yocto, a tool for creating embedded Linux distributions. Yocto supports many CPU architectures and development boards like the Intel-based Minnowboard and any hacker’s favorite ARM-based Raspberry Pi.

If you own a Raspberry Pi, you can now use Mapbox vector maps with OpenGL acceleration on a Qt/QtQuick application using
our Yocto layer.

Reach out on Twitter if you want to talk vector maps for embedded devices!
